Fire Alarm Service Engineer - Sheffield

Our client is a market leader in commercial fire alarm system installation and maintenance. Due to expansion they currently require experienced engineers in the following areas: Grantham and Mansfield.

Job specification:

Maintenance and Service of contracted and non-contracted fire alarms, nurse call systems, door access systems and CCTV equipment as required by the company.

Full installations from 1st through to 2nd fixing and commissioning of same systems. All installation and service must conform to the latest British Standards.

Installation of additional equipment to any/all of the above systems on an ad hoc basis.

Fault finding and rectification of any faults found on the above systems.

Completion of maintenance sheets and work dockets in a timely manor.

Use of Laptop pc for upload/download of systems changes/full commissioning and reading of some types of systems.

Use of power and hand tools on a daily basis.

Attending training course and seminars as required by the company.

Participation in an on call rota currently running on a daily basis.

Working independently on a self-management basis.

Maintaining oneself and the company vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness.

Consideration to the clients needs at all times.

Representing the company in a professional and courteous manor at all times.

Flexibility towards working hours and possible overnight stay.

Engineers with the ability to survey and quote for work in addition to regular duties will earn a premium.
