Job Description:
Our client based in Heysham require a PA/Administrator to join their team.
PA/Administrator
Purchasing-placing orders, entering data onto computer, following up orders and deliveries, reconciling invoices.
Organising travel arrangements for senior managers
Organising crew travel-liaising with vessels and crewing agency
Telephone/receptionist duties-answering incoming calls and directing them to relevant person
General office duties such as word processing, photocopying and filing as required.
Petty cash-controlling petty cash for the office and vessels
Staff diaries and keeping a schedule for staff
Utilities-organising and maintaining utilities contracts
Charts and nautical publications
Company cars
Company telephones
Notices to mariners, etc
Mail-distributing mail and posting outgoing mail daily
Assisting with mail shots etc.
